Forthe sake of this discussion, the interview taken into considerationis that between Thierry Henry and Arsen Wenger, the Arsenal coach.The interview clearly fits the popular culture as portrayed by theconversation between the two. The interview between t5he two footballlegends portrays the aspect of a rich culture in that theirperception is that the team that they have been serving for quite along time is the best in the world (Brummett, 2013). They describethe Arsenal football team as one of the greatest in the world. Thisis seen to reflect their attitude towards the team. They consider ina major way what the fans say about their team. By the fact that theteam has very many supporters worldwide makes Arsen Wenger refer toit as the best. This can be clearly seen as a perception broughtabout by his love for the club, and the many years that he has spentin the service of that club.

Showcaseof Societal Attitudes

Theinterview clearly showcases the societal attitudes, beliefs, andopinions. According to the two gentlemen, the team they support isthe best in the world. This, however, is being supported by mereallegations of some light factors (Brummett, 2013). As he puts it,Mr. Wenger tells Thierry of how great the Arsenal football club isbasing his argument on the level of support that it receives fromfans all over the world. It is hence evident that human beingsconsider things and people with a huge fan base as the most powerful.


Theconcept applied to analyze the interview is one of perception. Inthis regard, Thierry Henry and Arsen Wenger perceive Arsenal as thebest club merely because it has many supporters (Brummett, 2013).This, however, is against the facts in which the best club could beconsidered as one that wins over and over again.
