SafetyAwareness Event Flowchart

Theevent shall begin with the human resource department team makingplans for the day through the identification of venue where it willbe held. These may include some of the strains that may beexperienced as a result of physical elements in the workplace.Similarly, they may include features such as dim or excessivelighting, inappropriate posture as well as standing for long hours.The speaker shall explain to the audience the importance of stickingto activities and work environments shall help promote their healthand safety.

Thesecond speaker will talk about accident reporting and investigation.Mostly, this exercise would help to ensure that other people areaware of any hazard that may be available in the workplace and takethe necessary actions to address them. Likewise, this process willalso facilitate management to carry out corrective measures thatwould be geared towards achieving a high level of safety performancein the workplace.

Lastly,the third speaker will highlight the roles of various stakeholderssuch as the management and the employees in ensuring that propersafety measures are put in place. Such a practice will assist toensure that all individuals carry out their roles to make use ofconcerted efforts to realize proper safety practices.


Thepersonnel shall be put into groups of five by the moderators. Eachgroup shall be given different issues that relate to safety todiscuss. Every single member will have an opportunity to give outinformation and views as they relate to the topics highlighted.Precisely, this exercise will take 30 minutes after, which each groupshall be given a chance to present the ideas realized during thediscussions. The participants shall use projectors to submit theirfindings. The metrics of the measure would be based on the number ofsolutions that group members shall be able to come up with. One ofthe elements that may need further improvement could includemotivating the employee to participate actively in group discussionactivities.

Questionsand answers session

Theissues and answers session would take place thereafter. It shall takeup to 30 minutes, whereby the staff members will have the opportunityto ask the safety facilitators any questions that they may have forthe purposes of seeking more explanation. The moderators should makecertain all gray areas are well addressed in totality so as toimprove the level of understanding. One of the ways through such ameasure will be enhanced by increasing the amount of time slotted forthe sessions. The facilitators shall use power point projections toshow some of the answers.

Theevent shall be closed officially by the management throughcommunication with the public address system. It would,however, be significant to make the event last more than one day asan improvement in the future so as to be more beneficial.


Itis important to be aware of the workflow of the activity because theplanners will be able to bring out any areas that may needimprovement and address the accordingly (Benson &amp Whitworth,2013). As such, the planners should be able to ensure that the safetyawareness activity runs well without any challenges. In addition,they will be able to carry out measures that are incoherent withpolicies of the organization (Jørgensen &amp Lamarche, 2013). Theorganization will as well be capable of maintaining high levels ofsafety of its employees.
