Threeresources provided useful information for the empirical study. Thefirst resource used in the study is Introductionto qualitative research methods: A guidebook and resource. Theresource explains various research methods. The research method usedin the quantitative study is survey. Research participants werecontacted online to provide research data about enhancing counselingtraining using Information Technology (IT) (Taylor, Bogdan &ampDeVault, 2015). The second resource utilized in the study is theMeasuresof Central Tendency.The resource gives information about the statistical measures thatwere used to analyze the research data (Lund Research, 2016). Themeasure of central tendency, mean, was used to illustrate the averageage of the program. The measures of dispersion, variance, andstandard deviation, were used to indicate the spread of research dataabout enhancing counseling training using IT.

Thesuitable standards for the counseling graduate program are knowledge,abilities and skills, and attitudes (ASCA, 2012). Counselors arerequired to demonstrate sufficient understanding of ethics andprofessional qualifications. The identity of clients should beensured so as to realize high trust levels between the counselor andthe clients. Skills and abilities enable the counselor to offereffective and efficient services. The counselor should be capable ofdeveloping vision and goals of the school counseling programs. Goodstrategic planning abilities enable the counselors to achieve thegoals of the counseling program properly. Attitude enables thecounselors to believe in the success of the program. The counselorsshould strive to ensure that all students have sufficient access tothe counseling program.

Theassignment shows effective knowledge competencies. The empiricalresearch correlates to knowledge. Training of graduate counselors isimproved by increasing the access to professional information usingInformation Technology (IT) platforms. The empirical researchillustrates the relevance of knowledge. Knowledge enhancesprofessionalism and quality by improving communication between thecounselor and the client during the counseling process.
